Arranged wooden cutting boards, a knife, apples, a pear, cheese, and herbs on a rustic wooden surface.

Each team member will choose between hand crafting a magnetic knife rack or a walnut cutting board. These introductory projects are accessible for everyone while utilizing a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.

We’ll start by learning our woodworking basics, selecting a unique piece of walnut wood, and getting to know the tools we will use. By the end of the workshop, everyone will have a completed piece to take home and lots of new skills to brag about.

Completion enables you to do Level 2 Community Workshops or Open Shop Night.

Tools & Materials

Time & Cost

Duration: 2.5-3 hours

Choose a starting time: 10 a.m., 2 p.m. or 6 p.m.

Cost: $85/person (minimum of $850 total). Includes all materials, dedicated use of the space and instructor. Pay in-person at the time of your workshop.

Capacity: Up to 64 participants.
