Walnut Cutting Board Workshop
A public woodworking workshop open to all. No experience in the woodshop necessary.
Overview
Don’t be fooled by its simplicity — this is one of our best workshops. It’s upbeat, teaches you a variety of power tools and, like all our workshops, will leave you covered in sawdust.
Start by picking out a gorgeous piece of walnut. We’ll cut it to size on the chop saw and add some decorative touches with drill presses and router tables. Then find your zen in some sandpaper and make some friends around our big communal tables. Let your creativity run free with the wood burners, used to engrave whatever you’d like into your board.
The best part? Adding it to your kitchen. Let the chopping begin!
